Fee: $6,000
We LOVE working with our students, but we also need to charge for our services. We work with all our students on a package basis. Students can start with Collegeology as early as spring of sophomore year, but we typically start meeting some time during junior year.
Due to the nature of working with students and families, no college search process is identical. We think it’s easiest to explain our comprehensive package in two parts.
Part 1: Exploration
Meetings with student (and parents too, if okay with the student) to get to know them, explore a variety of colleges and build a list that excites them about life after high school. We also include topics like setting goals for junior and senior year in high school and high school class scheduling.
Part 2: Application
Meetings with student focused on the application process, including essay brainstorming and review, task lists and deadline management, application completion.
Our fee also includes college resume assistance, access to our online research and application tracking system (CCP).
Here are few quick notes to share about payments, fees, etc. . .
We ask that you pay a $500 non-refundable deposit after our first meeting together, but it's okay if you need to make multiple payments toward our package fee over the course of working with us (just please pay in full by the time your student graduates high school!).
We know some students' lives can be more complicated/interesting/exciting than others and we may be able to help at other points in his/her journey through high school and/or college. Please note any meetings PRIOR to spring of sophomore year or AFTER high school graduation (including senior summer!) will be billed at an hourly rate.
Thank you!

Going to college right out of high school is not for everyone. Whether you need a year to do something different before continuing your education or you want to pursue other goals not requiring a college degree, there are many different options for students after high school.
Helping students identify Gap Year opportunities is one of our favorite things to do! Annie and Robyn have gone on-site to visit some of our favorites and also keep in close contact with many Gap Year organizations to always stay up to date with new offerings for our students.
If you're interested in exploring these options with us, we'd love to help! Please contact us!
